Terms of Service

Last updated: August 29, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using OnPair.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OnPair (“the Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

  2. Description of Service

OnPair is a developer platform and GitHub App that analyzes pull requests for documentation integrity, contract changes (such as environment variables, routes, and configuration keys), and documentation drift, publishing findings and check runs directly to GitHub pull requests.

  3. Account Registration & Authentication

To access the Service, you authenticate passwordlessly via your verified email address. You are responsible for maintaining control over the email account associated with your OnPair User profile and for all activities conducted under your account.

  4. Subscriptions, Billing & Payments

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis based on the number of watched repositories and pull-request analyses included in your chosen plan.

Payments and merchant of record services are securely processed by our payment partners. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring billing to your selected payment method until cancelled.

  5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Self-Serve Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time directly from your OnPair dashboard under Billing → Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will retain access until then without further charges.

14-Day Refund Guarantee: If you are dissatisfied with the Service for any reason within the first 14 days of your initial subscription, contact us at [email protected] for a full refund.

  6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use OnPair to:

    • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
    • Transmit malicious code, viruses, or disruptive automated scripts.
    • Attempt unauthorized access to our infrastructure, user data, or third-party APIs.
    • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or create unauthorized derivative works of the platform.
    • Circumvent analysis quotas, rate limits, or billing entitlement restrictions.
  7. Intellectual Property & Code Rights

You retain all rights, title, and interest in and to your code, repositories, and documentation. OnPair accesses repository diffs and documentation files solely to perform requested analysis and generate check runs. We do not use your proprietary source code to train generalized AI models.

  8. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, OnPair shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
